The stars and nebulas are awesome and exceeded my expectations for how well everything pops up even during the day with lights on. However I’m only giving 2 stars because after being turned on for 30mins stated to smell like something was burning and gave off a high pitched sound. So while the lights are amazing I think this is extremely dangerous to leave in my sons room. I was so excited for this after seeing it on tic tok and now disappointed.

I was looking for a star projector for my son's room and came across this cute astronaut one. For 30 bucks its really good and my son loves it. The stars are green but the nebula options are great. Its small, compact and cute. Comes with a remote and USB cable.

[UPDATE] returned the first item and got a replacement. Second time around the product works great and is silent just how I expected it. I updated my rating to reflect what I think the product Is now that it's quiet. Nice of the company to reach out to see if everything is right, however they did so about a week after I had taken care of the issue myself. Nice attempt anyway most companies wouldn't careI really wanted to like this light as the astronaut is cool and the nebula feature is very immersive but it's so LOUD! please take a look at my video and you will hear the noise it makes when adjusting the nebula speed. I can only use it on the lowest setting otherwise the noise is too loud and distracts me. This would definitely be a 5 star product if it wasn't so loud. Unfortunately I threw out the box so I'm not sure I can get a replacement.Don't get this if you're looking for something quiet to put you to sleep unless you enjoy clicking noises

I love a little ambiance at night while I read my book and listen to music. This little guy does not disappoint, I’m not sure about how the mechanics work but if in the future they would make it so that it wasn’t so noisy while the nebula is on then it would be absolutely perfect. Oh and for the stars to dim. 😊

When my 5 year old grandson's star projector burned out, I was going to replace it with the same type of light for his room at night. I saw this, read a lot of reviews and looked at the pictures. This thing is awesome. The "stars" are green laser twinkles. They pulse and you're able to control the speed. The nebula spins slowly and color shifts. It's really beautiful. It has a timer. It can be set to shut off in 45 or 90 minutes or left on continuously. It is made well and doesn't have that cheap plastic feel. The ONLY thing I wish I could control, is the brightness of the laser stars. I just make sure the little astronaut is looking up and away from the head of my grandson's bed. The star and nebular show take up his whole ceiling in a 12' x 14' room. He loves it!

Seen this product on internet, found it on SickoApe half priced and bought it. Was not disappointed. You can have it turn off with the timmer. Control color of stars and nebula. Also, control if it flahes or is stable. The head tilts so you can direct the lights. Left it on for several days ( my burn out test) and it's still going strong no dimming or lights burning out. Worth the money. If u have a man cave it's a awesome addition.

Bought it about 7 months ago. It was so good, we bought another. Different light modes and brightness levels. Then the first one we purchased, began to be tempermental. It worked when it wanted to. Using the second one we purchased, we replaced the power cord, and it worked. Also same older unit, the stars are now dim and cannot increase brightness. Overall after 7 months, while great gift idea, don't expect much longevity.
