I got this for a 6-year-old who's afraid of the dark. She loves it. The "galaxy" is a rainbow of beautiful colors, and she likes all the 'stars' all over her bedroom wall. Provides a substantial amount of light, but it isn't too bright. It's look just as cool as mood lighting in a living room during parties/movie nights...

Oh my word, this is the best thing ever for my kids!
I bought this one and then we ordered my older son one. This is the perfect amount of light so kids aren't kept awake all night. This is in the corner of my kids room and it lights up the entire room. Its so fun and looks awesome too in the dark. This was better than led strips, the turtle light, and its a fun little character.

Bought for use as a night light. My son loves it. Has a dimmer feature so the stars and nebula brightness is adjustable along with the speed of both. There is a 45 and 90 minute timer but you can leave running all night. No batteries needed but you will need to purchases a plug separately (it comes with the cord only). I found that it stands up better off of its little moon shaped stand. Arms are also move able (up & down) if that matters. Includes a remote you will need to purchase 2 AAA batteries for it. However there are buttons on the back of the astronaut so the remote is not needed if you’re battery runs out.

Our 4 year old slept in his room with no problems... Until recently. One day he was just terrified of the dark, literally out of no where. We tried everything and it all ended with the same result: him sleeping in our bed every night. Once we installed this, he was amazed! He kicked us out of his room and insisted the lights be off and his door be closed. A beautiful stary miracle!

This is the best little projector to enhance your space. I have a large dividing wall between my house and my neighbor. I put this little guy in my screen room and have it pointed onto that large wall. The stars and color changing nebula can be seen from the road. It is not a glaring light so it will not bother anyone's eyes. It happens to be very peaceful and mesmerizing to watch the colors and patterns change. It almost seems to be a "natural" phenomenon that is showing on that wall. I love it and highly recommend it. Also because I have it directed onto the wall from inside my screened room, there is no concern about looking directly at the bright lazer. I get the pleasure of having the effect totally outside while my little astronaut is protected by the outside weather because of the location he is in...screenroom doesn't allow him to get rained on or anything else from the outside! Totally the coolest thing EVER!

After purchasing a couple other projector lights this one is by far the best one with many light cycle options it lights up the entire room it looks really cool it also comes with remote. Customer service is great I recommend this item to all!
